      One of the best ways to start your journey inward is by cultivating the energy of mindfulness. 
Here is a brief guide on how u can start mindfulness,  starting is no issue but daily consistency hence I will guide u on how to stay mindful throughout the day by bringing mindfulness into everyday life. also how to be mindful at the workplace by cultivating some mindful activities.


Because this energy will help us to see in and out. also, there are any mental benefits of practising mindfulness.

 neuroscientist Andrew Huberman found in his studies that mindfulness brings tremendous changes in the neurogenic activity of the mind, the mindful person is more focused, deliberate, attentive and peaceful in disastrous situations

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is paying attention to something knowingly and without judgements, just knowing that something is there without judgements and that something called objects of mindfulness it can be food, breath, touch, seen, body and emotions .it is the practice of attentively watching objects the way they are. philosophically it's an energy that helps us to know what is going on inside and outside us.


Why bring mindfulness in life?



          Often or almost we are lost in our thoughts, thoughts are always about the past that no longer exists or about the future which is not yet there.
Someone asked a Vedantic swami, can u give a one-word explanation for humans!

LOST IN THOUGHTS -he said.
In the process of thinking about Regrets of pasts and worries about the future,  we miss the only moment which exists -the present moment.
Past action has taken us to this present and present action will decide the future hence we are writing our destiny right now, so if we want a glorious and abundant future we must learn to BE in the present, live in the present .enjoying miracles of existence bez they are present only here and now.

 Drawing ourselves back to the present moment from the prison of the mind, we can touch then touch our real nature, that constant, unchanging, untouched by ups and downs of emotions, ever-present from beginningless time -pure consciousness which we are.


How mindfulness will Help

When we practice mindfulness, we're bringing back ourselves to the present moment again and again, by transferring our attention to some diligent object like breath (most common and helpful), sound, touch, seen, taste 
They are just objects of mindfulness meditation, what matters is not object but the energy which we are cultivating -awareness. we let go of the quality of that object, just being with taste, sound, and sight no matter good or bad 
Remember, good or bad is just our idea nature has not made anything nice or ugly, it's nonjudgemental, by practising like this we are training ourselves to see things as it is taste as taste, sound as sound and emotions as emotions ultimately situations as they are, death as it is, poverty as it is, wealth as it is .only then we can step out of our anger, concerns, hatred which are generated by our grasping after that we will not get swept away by those thoughts rather we will find our true nature which is bliss itself, love itself, abundant itself.

   The very essence of meditation is awareness, not peace, focus and love which we aim to get after initiating the practice they are just experiences of meditation and in mindfulness, we are learning to be aware .mindfulness is all about being aware of something that u know that it is there and letting it be. Because letting it be is letting go


Steps to get started 
   
    Take 15-20 minutes aside for u, morning time is best but u can choose whatever time suits u 
Get in a comfortable position whichever u like a squat or sitting in a chair is also ok.
Scan your body from head to toe, relax every part  unclench the jaw, loosen the eyes, relax your forehead and release your shoulders

Do this for an initial 15-20 days 
After that, in practice when u are finished with a body scan bring your attention to in and out of the breath when get lost, back again to breath 

Practising this for 21 days will make up the habit of daily meditation then u can move to higher objects of mindfulness like emotions, thoughts and the mind itself

Mistakes to avoid.

Do not TRY to meditate.do not force yourself for peace and focus. The fundamental thing which will object u are thoughts this is normal if u are a beginner. but let them be. meditation is all about training to let things be. 

Do not stop just bez u are not seeing results, to see them just continue with practice daily and .keep consistent as possible you can. It will take at least 6 months to recognize any progress but those changes were happening long before when u started meditation 🧘‍♀️. Outer results are just manifestations of some inner change. Change in outer behaviour is just the proof of some real change inner.


Mindfulness in daily activities 

Cooking meditation ,mindful Eating and cooking


 There are a lot of activities we do daily, but in the process, we get caught up in anger, fear and problems, u can practice meditation with all your daily activities .this is how u can stay mindful all day long just by paying attention to what u are doing.


1. Pay attention to the taste of the food u are eating, food flavours more delicious actually by this 

2. while cooking smell the aroma of spices, watch the colours of every ingredient and touch of stirring, chopping

3. wash dishes like u are holding baby buddha, combine touch and breath, look deep in vessels to know where they came from - from the womb of the mother earth.

4.  Walking meditation is a very good practice which we are doing all day long, u are supposed to pay attention to the sensation in the feet 🚶 where the bottoms of the feet touch the ground, combine breath and sensations 
 zen monk thich naht han says -u should learn to breathe from your feet!

5. mindful talking-notice wording, what u are saying .just watching the activity of speech .it is not about judging yourself but getting the insight that language and words are nothing but a rhythmic combination of sounds only 

6. mindfulness of feelings-this is very essential to practice, through 
In our daily, we create so many worries and anger. sadness and anxiety may come, it can be of practice itself bez we may be forcing ourselves to be mindful which is totally normal but learning to let go of feelings is vital for continuing the practice.
Be aware of what emotions are there in u .for that stop at any time, back to mindful breathing and ask what I am feeling. Watch that feeling as it is don't force let it be when it dissipates back to mindful breathing again. know that if u are watching your emotions u are already out of it hence nothing to worry about.


Mindfulness at work 



1. Get 5 minutes out of your schedule.

1. Get fresh air in the atmosphere outside your workplace.

3. do a little gratitude contemplation, and bring attention back to the breath.

4. change your thoughts about your colleagues, appreciate and admire them thank to them for being with u.if u find this difficult bez I know there can be someone whom u do not like or oppose but thinking about them negatively blocks your energy of love and u can not perform your best with the energy of opposition by changing your thoughts u transform that energy hence u are doing this to and for yourself not for them only.


                 
       We aim to be conscious 24 /7, following all of the above meditations it makes up your whole day, the energy of mindfulness is ever-present in all of us hence we can be aware all the time, and getting to this point is the aim of all spiritual practices, lightning the joy and peace already within us. Cultivated energy of consciousness will make us infer that we are something beyond emotions, and behaviours not just body-mind complex.
